Check out Rick Landers’ restored 1988 P-38 — new Lightning aero covers in black; new Lightning seat bag, new black bar tape and cables, new kickstand from Lightning, new Schwalbe Marathon tires (front/rear) and custom made red decal for Lightning aero cover. New white top tube, Lightning decals from Lightning, and new Lightning mesh seat to be installed tomorrow. Finally, clipless pedals. There’s even a full fairing in its future.

This past weekend the first annual Tour de Art bike ride was ridden in Reston, VA, and I served as the leader of the tour on my Lightning P-38. Another recumbent (EZ-1) was also with our group that included a National Cross Country Mountain Bike Silver Medalist, a ‘Cutter’ who was in the crowd scene in the iconic bike movie, ‘Breaking Away,’ and other Reston residents … we visited a number of outdoor art pieces in our wonderful community with its 60 miles of trails …
